Sorry this is a tad late, but hey, it's done.. Still trying to work out timing when it comes to the new member of the family.

Anyhow, this months picture is a threesom between Drogan, Amo, and Kinar. I should have an example up for you soon.

Oh, well. She does not look angry about it (yet). Sad, but not angry. So I'd say their relationship will survive it.

However, I don't think it will earn him any bonus points with her Dad when their relationship comes out one day.
Remember the little exchange after their first kiss:
Kinar: "What is my father going to think?"
Amo: "It's Tauren Hunting Sesason."
jlmdragon 19th Apr 2013, 2:39 AM edit delete reply
huh? but in the game you only see forsaken in the initial invasion, i suppose later after that you might see tauren and other horde races, but i thought Serid was part of the Cenarion Circle, which would not have been part of the invasion.
Guest 19th Apr 2013, 3:35 AM edit delete reply
In before Serid says he wasn't accepted for the mission because he was going there to tend to wounded innocents and keep them out of harms way, or something to that nature, there is definitely more to this then meets the eye after all, i don't see Serid being the type to go and join the main assault, definitely got me on my toes for next week now, I'm very curious
Silvermane 19th Apr 2013, 1:11 PM edit delete reply
That's just the thing, technically all of Gilneas was innocent as the independant state was invaded without provocation after the worgen crisis. Serid wanting to be a part of that, even if it was with the intension of serving as a healer still looks very bad.
Josh.C 19th Apr 2013, 1:51 PM edit delete reply
I'm guessing the Worgon crisis is a very crucial detail to all this.

Considering what Kinar had to go through with the transformation, they at least had a bit of control over themselves by the time the hord invaded.

So what was the crisis and how did it provoke the hord into action? Does anyone have a link?
Silvermane 19th Apr 2013, 2:40 PM edit delete reply
The Horde was looking to gain further foothold close to the alliance and Gilneas in its weakened state as a result of the worgen crisis (the rapid spread of the curse and the attacks which followed) being in no state to defend themselves after the wall broke open following the cataclysm, offerd too good of an oppertunity for Garrosh pass up.
viverred 19th Apr 2013, 7:25 AM edit delete reply
Open mouth, insert hoof, twist left, chew twice, swallow hard. I'm sure Serid has his reasons, everybody does. but talk about lousy timing.

Well at least hes not trying to cover that up making matters worse down the line. Can't wait to see Kinars reaction
Guest 19th Apr 2013, 3:11 PM edit delete reply
I think it has to be "next to my father" or something like that, not "outside my father" (see 2nd panel).
barajas13 19th Apr 2013, 6:05 PM edit delete reply
barajas13
Nope, its right. Outside in this sense means "other then". In fact, "next to" in this sentence wouldn't even make sense.

Guest 19th Apr 2013, 5:08 PM edit delete reply
I'm not worried. Serid's face says it all. He's still a youngun that grew up in war, and was spoonfed an "Us vs. Them" mentality along with rampant racism (he's said as much). He's learning now that things really aren't split between Horde and Alliance. Everyone involved is a person.

It's a lesson it seems that a tough old wolf like Koutack still needs to learn. If his mind was open, he'd realize he doesn't have a paw to stand on with that sarcastic remark.
Viverred 20th Apr 2013, 4:03 AM edit delete reply
Koutack's remarks and feelings about 'us vs them' are based on relatively recent events, not long standing racism or indoctrination. Gilneas pretty much tried to play Switerland and stay neutral in the whole horde vs alliance. the whole reason for the Greymane wall. The Forsaken (and by default the Horde) decided that wasn't good enough. So, i'd say he more than a little justified in this situation.
Amocin 20th Apr 2013, 9:40 AM edit delete reply

Pretty much what Viverred said. The people of Gilneas were very recently invaded and taken over by the Horde, even though they had stayed behind their wall and tried to stay neutral. They were pulled into this fight when they just wanted to be left alone, and lost many friends and family members in the process.
Josh.C 20th Apr 2013, 12:11 PM edit delete reply
I'd guess under those situations, that the Horde has a bit of resentment towards the people of Gilneas in some circles for not simply joining a side.

Bad blood like that usually goes both ways.
Guest 20th Apr 2013, 6:51 PM edit delete reply
They didn't invade Gilneas because of bad blood, they invaded Gilneas because Garrosh ordered it inorder to gain a strategic foothood in southern Lordaeron.
Josh.C 20th Apr 2013, 7:53 PM edit delete reply
Oh, I'm not stating they they invaded because of bad blood.

I'm stating most likely a lot of bad blood exist between the Horde and the Worgen because of the invasion and it's not mutually exclusive that the hate only comes from the Worgen for the Tauren.
Guest 21st Apr 2013, 6:22 PM edit delete reply
Gilneas was also pretty much like "You can fend for yourselves, we're not getting involved" when Arthas and the Scourge came and sacked Lordaeron.

Surprise, surprise, their former neighbors and allies are now the Forsaken. Sylvanas really had no problem with Garrosh's order. The Worgen had already destroyed the country and taken over the people before Forsaken even showed up. Who wants Worgen as neighbors? Usually they are just feral humanoids. They're useless for being raised, and the Cataclysm destroyed the wall so now they were leaking into Lordaeron and destroying her people.

I'd say Sylvanas was more justified in her actions.
Guest 23rd Apr 2013, 5:32 AM edit delete reply
By the time she gave the order to commit genocide with the plague it was more then obvious that the worgen were no longer feral.
withpuppys 19th Apr 2013, 6:47 PM edit delete reply
serid you filthy traitorous coward!!!! you invade a girls homeland then try to date her?!
Raphindra 21st Apr 2013, 2:21 PM edit delete reply
You might want to reread the earlier comics. They met because Kinar attacked Serid first, as a suicide attempt. Also, Kinar kissed Serid first.
Cool your jets, and wait to hear the rest of the story before you fly off the handle. :)
Rankamateur 19th Apr 2013, 8:00 PM edit delete reply
It should be kept in mind that at the time of the invasion of Gilneas, the Tauren were still reeling from the horror of the massacre at Camp Taurajo. The attack on this Tauren village was perpetrated by humans, so it wouldn't be a stretch to think that Garrosh could easily convince many of his normally peaceable allies to participate in an attack on other humans.

Add to this reports that the nation of Gilneas was overrun by savage worgen, and it would be even easier to convince druids to intervene, considering their long tradition of attempting to keep the worgen species under control.

I found a very good reason to, among others, begin to /Growl to Serid!
The invasion, followed by the use of pests by the Banshee Queen, the escape and exile the people of Gilneas, was something that awakens in me,deep grudge against the Horde and any one that serve under yours flag.
We were driven from our home(Yes, I am a Worgen), ironically, as the Taurens were by the Centaurs.
Serid was a volunteer of the Horde,to help in the attack against a people, that until then never chased, threatened or even offended the Horde just because Gilneas had resources that would be better for the Horde than for humans?
I am very anxious to hear what the reason that justifies this "civic service" to the Horde. Hail Gilneas!
Raphindra 21st Apr 2013, 1:36 PM edit delete reply
Eh, not all Hordies are that bad. If I had the choice, I'm join up with the Pandarens and boot both the Horde and the Alliance out of Pandaria. While I have no love for the Alliance, I will not willingly follow Garrosh, or Sylvanis.

Basic Campfire for Warchief!
Guest 21st Apr 2013, 8:33 PM edit delete reply
Your theory doesn't hold water. The scourge initiated the assault on the neutral gilneas people. The worgen curse was concocted in a desperate act of self defence. Also, Garrosh ordered Sylvanas to fall back when the Gilnean people got the upper hand, and Sylvanas (acting against a direct order) instead decimated Gilneas and made it uninhabitable for both factions. So get your facts straight before you go around yelling ignorant bullshit. (Tauren pun intended) The author was totally right to make the comparison, as its the same fucking thing!
Rankamateur 22nd Apr 2013, 4:08 AM edit delete reply
I'm not exactly sure whose comment it was that set you off, but there really isn't any reason to bring the faction-based vitriol of the WoW forums here. Can't we all just...get along?

Also, just wanted to point out, 2 people who attacked an innocent group of people, caused their genocide, and commits horrendous acts of human experimentation?
Ladies and Gentelmen, Sylvanas Windrunner = Adolph Hitler

I'll second that! :) kill her then move on to garrosh while you're at it. Real pity I'm horde or I would do it myself.

@Guest & @Aurion_Black

Replace Sylvanas Windrunner with Arthas Menethil. Also, truthfully, Adolf Hitler didn't just attack Jews, he also attacked the Gypsies, the aged, the infirm... (more of a monster than what you're making him out to be).

All have made very good points, and iin all fairness there really is no justification for invading someone that is not threatening you. On the other hand, please remember that silvanas had to watch her country and people decimated by Arthas wile gilneas sat on its but, so I say that she would have to be more then a saint if she did not harbor some resentment over it. I don't think she was adverse to letting them feel what it was like to watch your home ravaged by a hord of ravening undead monsters.
