Ever have that really annoying friend you are cooking for who insists you are not doing it right?

Also, sorry for the lateness, at least this time its fully shaded.. I still gotta go back and fix page 89.

This is the last week to donate for this months pic of Kinar with Serid and Mordin.

Soma 27th Apr 2013, 6:31 PM edit delete reply
I totally agree with you, I hate it as well.

But as I always remind them, "You do know... I keep the extra sharp knives in the kitchen right?" and they usually go away. x'3
Rembrant 29th Mar 2013, 1:03 AM edit delete reply
Heh! Okay, this one is pretty funny, it's nice to see you adding humor and more everyday normal stuff, such as cooking.

As a side note, I've noticed you use a lot of "I am" and very little of "I'm".
Corrilly 29th Mar 2013, 1:05 AM edit delete reply
lol skin that tauren XD
FoxyWolf 29th Mar 2013, 1:26 AM edit delete reply
Her expression in the first panel.... classic! Hahaha love this page!
Starlyte 29th Mar 2013, 1:48 AM edit delete reply
Heh actually he's just trying to have an excuse to use northern spices cause you get so bloody much of it.
Dreamfox 29th Mar 2013, 2:48 AM edit delete reply
Poor Drogan *chuckle*

Maybe he should have not brought Kinar's whole family along. Each moment his mission gets closer to failure. First his little misstep with Amo, now this. Let's see what happens when Kinar finds out why he wanted her here. :)

Good joke by the way.
RexWhite 29th Mar 2013, 5:30 AM edit delete reply
Yeah, I really know how she feels. People always bother me about the way I cook. Yet they seem to forget, I'm one of only two people in this house that actually knows anything about cooking...
CornellAKABluCrescentMoon 29th Mar 2013, 6:08 AM edit delete reply
lol, nice page.
DarksilenceTheWolf 29th Mar 2013, 7:14 AM edit delete reply
hehehe, this is why i use skinning too, dragon hide is really a good way too earn money (before mists of pandaren came out that is.). that saiid, ive never skinned another wolf, that would be barbaric D:
Silvermane 29th Mar 2013, 12:07 PM edit delete reply
Especially if you play hunter and have a wolf type pet. I can imagine them looking to their master and saying "This is #$@%ed up"
Viverred 29th Mar 2013, 8:06 AM edit delete reply
With experience as my guide, she will have to 'show them the knife'. the first warning usually goes by the wayside after a few minutes.

Why Dorgan doesn´t wear his gloves?

They are camping for the night, so nobody's in their armor. That would be uncomfortable.
Rubinelle 29th Mar 2013, 9:37 AM edit delete reply
Yeah, i've been there. One too many cooks, not enough appreciation for having the most cooking skill. Thats why I gave up cooking, and took up Archaeology :3
Guest 29th Mar 2013, 11:57 AM edit delete reply
Heh you know you've been away from WoW too long when the first thing which comes to mind when seeing a worgan mentioning skinning is the bonus they get to the skill which screws up the progress bar
Guest 29th Mar 2013, 12:01 PM edit delete reply
Shouldn't it be "another of my trade skills" since cooking isn't a primary or secondary skill, its one of the bonus skills anybody can have in addition to the two main ones.
GenTech4 31st Mar 2013, 9:56 AM edit delete reply
I'm not 100% on my memory here, but I remember that at some point in the past, long before MoP, Cooking was treated the same as the other main skills. Could be wrong though.
Rankamateur 1st Apr 2013, 3:37 AM edit delete reply
Warcraft characters can have two primary and two secondary trade skills. Cooking is, in fact, one of the two secondary skills in which one can progress. It may be that Kinar really does have only one of each...or it may be that she simply misspoke.
Rankamateur 1st Apr 2013, 3:40 AM edit delete reply
Correction; you can have any number of secondary skills.
Guest 21st Apr 2013, 12:22 AM edit delete reply
last time i played, there were 3 secondary skills: cooking, fishing, and first aid. you could have all 3 secondary skills, and pick 2 of the 10 primary skills- skinning being one of them.
not that any of this really matters since this isnt WoW. its merely a comic based off of WOW creatures. in their world, they could do every profession ever.

No one likes a backseat cooker ;-]

Stews on an adventure are suppose to be healthy and filling, not tasty and perfect.
Ramol 29th Mar 2013, 2:18 PM edit delete reply
Hahaha this is the funniest (in my opinon) comic part yet. XD
BanditRingtail 29th Mar 2013, 2:32 PM edit delete reply
...threaten to add the backseat driver to the stewpot. Or better yet, threaten not to feed them. If they don't think you can cook, they can get their own food!
Scott A 29th Mar 2013, 2:45 PM edit delete reply
Hah! Well said, Kinar! That'll shut him up.

Also, dragonscale armor...Oooh...
Druidikus 29th Mar 2013, 4:27 PM edit delete reply
XXD
The funniest page I have seen
Rankamateur 29th Mar 2013, 4:48 PM edit delete reply
Thank you for this...it was priceless. The facial expressions were a real treat.

I must say...I've come to appreciate Drogan's disposition. For a dragon that must be approaching at least a century or more in years, he is very personable. He shows little of the aloofness one comes to expect from most dragonkind.

The last page looked fine to me. ^^
Cynder2011 30th Mar 2013, 12:46 AM edit delete reply
I wonder what skinning level you need to skin a dragon XD

Successfully threatened with a spoon. Dragons are overrated.
Philo Wintercoat 4th Apr 2013, 3:28 AM edit delete reply
A WOODEN spoon, at that!
Otookee 3rd Aug 2014, 8:13 AM edit delete reply
Hey, being skinned with a wooden spoon would really hurt! :)
Wolfen 30th Mar 2013, 3:20 PM edit delete reply
I just love Kinar's expression in panel 1 and 4. I can relate with her here cause I go through the same thing quite a few times.
Ramol 31st Mar 2013, 12:21 AM edit delete reply
This is superb! Hey Amocin you should do more comic pages like this with the day-to-day activites like travelling.OH that gives me a idea you should do something like that where Kinar gets
Drogan back for this. XD
Ramol 31st Mar 2013, 12:24 AM edit delete reply
Darnit double post becuse of lag Hey Amocin since this is your site can you delete 1 of the 2 comments i accidently double posted and after that delete this one?

zhadowszpell 31st Mar 2013, 9:34 AM edit delete reply
Hey i love it so much i hope you will make more and soon!!!!
Guest 1st Apr 2013, 8:42 AM edit delete reply
You can just hear the soft growl of irritation in panel 4.
Rankamateur 2nd Apr 2013, 5:03 PM edit delete reply
I just thought about the fact that previously, Kinar was rather intimidated by Drogan in earlier episodes. I guess all it took to draw out a bit of backbone was to have her skill at cooking questioned...:)

Sometimes that's all it takes.

She could also mention that Rocky Mountain oysters go good with a stew, if you catch m drift.
Absalom 3rd Apr 2013, 8:09 PM edit delete reply
Silly taurens... EVERY man knows you NEVER, under ANY circumstances, criticize a womans cooking. They'll eat you alive.
Dreamfox 3rd Apr 2013, 9:13 PM edit delete reply
Another thing that I just noticed.
A dragon disguised as a tauren tries to give advice at cooking? Interesting, very interesting.
Amocin 3rd Apr 2013, 10:14 PM edit delete reply
Amocin
I have a brother who has no idea how to cook, so much so that he thought putting tuna in cream corn was a good idea.. Doesnt keep him from trying to give advice on how he thinks you should cook something every now and again. Anybody can be guilty of it. =P
Dreamfox 4th Apr 2013, 11:22 AM edit delete reply
Oh yes, that is fairly common.
What I find interesting is, that Drogan has adapted enough to mortal life to do so. Or to appreciat spiced food. Take your pick.
Point is, there is another story in there for the future :)
