"It was that moment that Mordin knew: he fucked up"

I mean, shit.
Nathair got rekt, Mordin's armour contains a thingy (It's magic, being realistic it could be anything) and Kinar is still pissed off which I'll be somewhat surprised if Modin comes out intact from.
*claps&nodding*
Very good.

"The Real Housewives of Gilneas"

Tune in next week to watch the drama unfold as Kinar and Mordin work out their differences. Despite the freezing temperatures, things get heated!

This actually made me chuckle.

Wow. When did a dk shoulder armor become a phylacetry? That gives a good new perspective to all the glowing shoulder armor in-game o.o
Amocin, so is that lich under Mordin's command, or the other way around, or he's like a mobile boss who watches every move? Kinda confused here.......
Royell 3rd Oct 2016, 10:49 AM edit delete reply
I was just thinking, "wait... is that his phylacetry??"
Also, someone else who knows what a phylacetry is! I'm in good company. :)

Good to have some lore experts in our ranks, virtual brofist ;)
Rasminar 3rd Oct 2016, 4:10 PM edit delete reply
If only there was a dwarf hunter with a big ass sniper rifle that could take a shot at that shoulder piece.

Oh man that would be pretty funny thing to see.
Wulfspyder 3rd Oct 2016, 8:36 PM edit delete reply
Yeah, a piece of armor that someone is wearing has to be the WORST object to have chosen for a phylactery.

It makes sense if the Lich has an IQ of two and a half.
Really, who puts their Phelactary on the shoulder of a close quarters fighter?
Would it not make more sense for the Phelactory to be more protected? Or am I missing some sort of logic here?

There are many people going around wondering if the Lich King's is either his sword (less likely) or his Armor (mostly the helm), its not out of the realm of possibilities..

Remember too, that this is a world where armor can be made of any type of wonderful awesome material, and though our world's armor may crack and break... Azeroth is a place where not all the real world things apply.. Weapons withstand a lot more use then they would in our world..

I would much rather my phylactery be made of metal than some sort of jar or something.

Oh my god, senpai noticed me! Now i can live happily :D
Drakkenfyre 10th Oct 2016, 2:44 AM edit delete reply
Yeah, the being known as the Lich King (Ner'zhul after his soul was ripped from his body for defying the Burning Legion) is bound to the helm.

Frostmourne contains the souls of all it has killed and fed upon. It ALSO sucks the souls of whoever picks it up, that includes Arthas' soul as well. That's probably where the misconception of "the Lich King" being in the sword came from. Most people, even back during WotLK, didn't understand that Arthas and the Lich King are two separate people. And when he joins the Lich King/becomes the Lich King, it's the minds of two different people floating in there.
Lorenerd64 6th Oct 2016, 8:19 PM edit delete reply
When talking about the Lich King one has to remember that Bolvar and Arthas are vastly different in power and crowning. When Arthas became the Lich King he was already undead because Frostmournr claimed his soul when he pulled it from its icy stone, and when he donned the Helm of Damnation his souls combined with Ner'zul's, eventually Arthas destroyed Ner'zuls portion of control and he reigned as the one true king of the dead, it's the helm that turns one into the Lich King, but the power comes from the burning legion and is not fully understood. Bolvar is unique as he is not human or undead, he's in some mind of half state, it's due to his posioning during the wrath gate and the fires of Alexstrasza who's the aspect of life and fertility. So he's a Lich King but it's unclear if he has full control over the scourge. We'll have to wait and see if Legion will adress this at all.

Ahahah, people.... its exactly the point : who the fuck will bother breaking an armor into pieces?
No one will thought someone had put a philactery into it.
Its why that idea is so clever :)

So That's why the Huge Skull on the shoulder....and here I thought it was just a Nifty place to keep his Car Keys!! :o LOL!! I Often find myself say those Very same word's after an "All Night Bender" on the weekend!! :p

Haha....at first glance I thought Kinar was biting her own tail....then I remembered Worgan's don't Have Tails!

As always Great work!!:)
Guesticus 3rd Oct 2016, 7:50 AM edit delete reply
Wait, is she biting her own tail? o_O
Maby 3rd Oct 2016, 8:39 AM edit delete reply
No, Worgen don't have tails
Illu 3rd Oct 2016, 8:45 AM edit delete reply
Nope, she doesn't have a tail :P She's biting the things that Mordin is using to hold her still.
Guesticus 5th Oct 2016, 7:47 AM edit delete reply
Yeah, realised that after posting :/
3D 3rd Oct 2016, 9:04 AM edit delete reply
Yeah, MORDIN ... WHAT THE FLIP WERE YOU THINKING ... ?!

...

Psst ... what is he so upset about?
Guesticus 5th Oct 2016, 7:48 AM edit delete reply
Maybe the fact Kinar still has her teeth and currently using them to bite through whatever it is that is holding her
Mikotaj Fenris 3rd Oct 2016, 10:00 AM edit delete reply
Uuuhh.....ok
Kingkmodo93 3rd Oct 2016, 10:30 AM edit delete reply
Hmmm... I'm seeing 2 possible reasons for such a statement. Either Mordin is actually now of the side of the good guys meaning Kinar's lightning strike got through to him, or the potentiality of seeing his wife die did. Or he's a bad guy playing the good guy part.
Alex Longden 3rd Oct 2016, 11:51 AM edit delete reply
"what the fuck was I thinking?"

that's the thing Mordin you WERN'T thinking XD
Mikotaj Fenris 3rd Oct 2016, 2:02 PM edit delete reply
I'm completely dumbstruck by what he just said. The only reason I can see him saying that is because he tried to subdue her when she pulled him into the dream. But risked his master turning her into a death knight.

Yes! That's right, Mordin's master, he made a Voldemort move by placing himself inside Mordin's shoulderpad.
Rasminar 3rd Oct 2016, 4:06 PM edit delete reply
Pretty sure Mordin's cape and tabard are supposed black like his torso area (as seen in page 262). Unless that was a purposeful artistic change.
Amocin 3rd Oct 2016, 7:19 PM edit delete reply

Oooops, Ill fix that ASAP. Thanks.

"what was I thinking, I know how stubborn she is... this is going to end very badly"
kulkum 4th Oct 2016, 2:08 AM edit delete reply
While everyone else tries to find out why he's saying it... I'm just going to say that the bitchy way he says it makes this my favorite line in the comic so far.

What the fuck was I thinking?

Hehehehe.
Hitokimi 5th Oct 2016, 7:57 PM edit delete reply
This statement could also come from the conversation a few pages back.

The Lich pointed out that Kinar 'was too powerful to control' and Mordin just straight up said that since he wanted her alive, and that turning her into a Death Knight could cause her to lose her power as a druid- that he would be the one to 'bring her under control'.

He KNOWS she can't be controlled, that in her feral powdered state she's almost unstoppable, and if he lets her go, shes just going to rip him a new one.

He just realized his Catch 22,
CM 6th Oct 2016, 2:31 AM edit delete reply
Possibly an important detail: The magic around Mordin's hand is green. Historically that magic has been closer to black. This may or may not have any meaning, but it's interesting to note.
Mikotaj Fenris 6th Oct 2016, 3:41 PM edit delete reply
So folks, one thing I just noticed, this paget is "Should of had a plan". So what Mordin is saYong probably refers to that.

One thing that conoises me is, did he not think he'd get this far? Did he not know what he was going to do after he captured his wife?

Seriously Amocin

Like I said, this page makes me dumbstruck.

This comic is and has been amazing, I've been watching and following druids since the 2nd sex scene and overall this comic is a diamond in a sea of unoriginal knock off's. Keep up the great work and try not to over exhert yourself.

Technically speaking, aren't they still married? The vows they made still hold true, right? For better or for worse. In sickness and in health, till death do them part? Technically, he didn't die. so...
